Slow feeder bowls, which ones actually work
He inhales dinner in about eleven seconds and then looks unwell for an hour. Tried one of the maze bowls and he just tips it over and eats off the floor, which I have to admit is clever.

Two months on a mid range kibble, honest notes
Switched in July, so about nine weeks now. Coat is better, which I did not expect. Stools are firmer. He is mildly less enthusiastic about dinner than he was with the old food, but he does eat it. Works out about 12 a month cheaper. I would call that a win overall.

Tried the scanner on ten bags in the shop
Stood in the aisle scanning things like a maniac for about fifteen minutes. Eight of the ten came up. The two that did not were own brand. Most useful bit was seeing two bags at almost the same price land twenty points apart.

Anyone tried the freeze dried toppers
Small bag, alarming price, smells like a farmyard. She loses her mind for it. Is this actually adding anything nutritionally or am I paying twelve quid for excitement?

Bag design rant
Why does the resealable strip on every single one of these give up after a week. I have four bags of food in the cupboard and every one of them is held shut with a peg.

Is the expensive wet food worth it for a cat who eats anything
She has never refused a single thing in her life. Given that, is there a reason to spend more than the basic stuff beyond how I feel about it?
