Is the expensive wet food worth it for a cat who eats anything

She has never refused a single thing in her life. Given that, is there a reason to spend more than the basic stuff beyond how I feel about it?

Look at the meat percentage and whether it is a complete food rather than complementary. That difference matters more than the price bracket does.

Complete versus complementary caught me out for about a year. It is in tiny text on the back and it is the single most important line on the tin.
