New arrivals, settling in, and the ones still looking.
He finally came out from behind the sofa
Six weeks. Six weeks of food going in and an empty bowl coming out and never once seeing him do it. Last night he walked across the room, sat down about a metre from my feet, and stayed there for twenty minutes. I did not move a muscle and my tea went cold and it was worth it.

Day nine with a very scared rescue
She eats, she uses the garden, she will not be touched. Flinches at hands even when they are nowhere near her. The rescue said she was found as a stray and nothing more is known. I am not expecting miracles. I would just like to know I am doing the right things.

What should I actually buy before pick up day
Collecting a two year old lurcher on Saturday. I have a bed, bowls, a lead and a collar. Every list online then adds about forty more things and I cannot tell what is real.

Adopted a bonded pair and only one has settled
Three weeks in. One of them is on the sofa doing zoomies at 8pm. The other is still living under the bed and only comes out at night. Does the confident one usually pull the shy one along eventually?
