She eats, she uses the garden, she will not be touched. Flinches at hands even when they are nowhere near her. The rescue said she was found as a stray and nothing more is known. I am not expecting miracles. I would just like to know I am doing the right things.

Day nine is very early. The rule of thumb a lot of people use is three days to decompress, three weeks to settle, three months to feel at home. You are still in the first bit.
