How often do you actually need to do teeth

Everyone says brush daily. Nobody I know brushes daily. What is the realistic minimum that still does something useful?

Not veterinary advice

Nobody here is your vet, and no vet reviews these posts. Community experience is genuinely useful for working out whether something is worth worrying about - but if your animal is unwell, in pain, or has stopped eating or drinking, call a vet rather than waiting for a reply.

Daily is the ideal and three or four times a week still helps a lot. Once a fortnight is closer to a gesture. The honest answer is that whatever you will actually keep doing beats the perfect plan you abandon in March.

Attaching it to an existing habit was what made it stick for us. He gets his teeth done right before his evening walk and now he waits by the drawer.

Tying it to the walk is clever. Trying that.
