Anyone else's dog gain weight on the exact same portion

Nothing has changed. Same food, same scoop, same two walks. He is 1.4kg heavier than he was in spring and the vet gave me a look. He is six now so I assume this is just the metabolism thing everyone warns you about.

Weigh the food instead of scooping it. I was convinced I was consistent and I was out by about 15 percent every single time.

Also count the treats. Training treats added up to nearly a fifth of my dog's daily intake and I had no idea.

Weighed it this morning. I was giving him roughly a third more than I thought. Well then.
